Born and raised in Queens, New York, Jewel recently graduated from Brown University with a dual degree B.A. in Theatre Arts & Performance Studies and Computer Science.
She is an actress, dancer, model, and software engineer. She works to tell stories that center Blackness, not as a token or a stereotype, but as a full, well-rounded, and complex existence. She sees performing as an act of resistance, and through art, seeks to uplift Black voices and celebrate our multitudes!
